Women and Flowers ...
What do flowers mean?
Flowers play an important role in your love journey. From
courtship, to dating, and to marriage (and of course not
forgetting Valentine's Day), you can never do without
flowers simply because they symbolise Love, Passion,
and Happiness.
And women just love them no matter what, even if she
tells you she's not into flowers. And there're a few occasions
where flowers are compulsory, they include:
- her birthday
- your anniversary
- Valentine's day
- the day after you both quarrel...
Surprise your girl once in a while with a bouquet of flowers
and you're sure to see her smile (at least).
Flowers in Singapore can cost from $4 and above per stalk,
depending where you buy them. Don't stinge on them, and
don't make it too often either (save it for surprises...)
Here are some common types of flowers and their meanings:
- Roses
They generally represent Love and Passion. Common colours
include:
- Pink - usually means admiration, or happiness.
- White - represents innocence and purity.
- Red - means I Love You.

- Tulips
They normally have the meaning of Perfect Lover. Common
colours are:
- Red - for declaration of Love.
- White - usually to ask for forgiveness.
- Purple - meaning royalty.

If you don't know how many stalks to buy, 1, 3, 9 and 12
are the most common. If you feel embarrassed to be holding
flowers in your hands, you may ask for a bag, most florists
have them.
Enjoy Dating...
Cheers!
Joe
